The Fabyan Villa Museum and Japanese Garden will return to a public hours schedule starting on Sunday, May 1 at 1pm. The Fabyan Villa Museum and Japanese Garden are located within Fabyan Forest Preserve in Geneva off Route 31. A donation of $1 per person at the Japanese Garden and $3 adults/$1 kids at the Villa Museum is appreciated.

The peaceful grounds of the Fabyan Japanese Garden public hours are: Sundays (1-4:30pm), Wednesday(1-4pm) Thursday (ONLY June- August 1-4pm)

The museum will be open for guided tours every half hour on Saturday & Sunday (1-4pm) and Wednesdays (1-4pm). Thursdays from June through August are Family Days at the museum with fun games for kids, KDRMA Passport To Adventure activities and self guided tour booklets for adults.

The museum is the former home of George and Nelle Fabyan and was re-designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1907. The Japanese Garden was designed by Taro Otsuka in 1910 for the Fabyans' as part of their Riverbank Estate, now the Fabyan Forest Preserve.

Both sites are owned by the Kane County Forest Preserve District and operated by PPFV. Please note: NO PRIVATE PHOTOGRAPHY IS ALLOWED IN THE FABYAN JAPANESE GARDEN DURING PUBLIC HOURS.
