Recognizing and Dealing with Domestic Violence

What does abuse look like? Learn to recognize the signs of domestic abuse, how to provide support to help a friend or family member and what kind of questions to ask. Safe community advocates Megan Sobotka and Raquel Hernandez of Family Shelter Service will be here to give you the tools to support those in an abusive relationship and dispel the myths around domestic abuse.

Family Shelter Service transforms lives by offering help and hope to those affected by domestic violence. The organization's mission is to support a community that is free of domestic violence and safe for all. For more information visit www.familyshelterservice.org.
