THE KERRY PIPER IRISH PUB BRINGS NOSTALGIC IRISH EXPERIENCE TO WILLOWBROOK

An Irishman’s Home Away From Home Celebrates its 20th Year

Established in 1998 as an Irish heritage retreat in the Chicagoland suburbs, The Kerry Piper Irish Pub, 7900 Joliet Rd., is marking a major milestone in its 20th year of serving the Willowbrook community in Chicago’s Western suburbs. Managed by Sonas Hospitality Co., which is named for the Gaelic term ‘sonas’ meaning ‘well-being,’ The Kerry Piper is a staple for community members and travelers alike for two decades, offering modern Irish-American experiences with authentic cuisine and festive, live music every weekend. Named in honor of the famous, Irish bagpiper who is known for playing his pipes throughout County Kerry in Ireland, Tom Carthy the “Kerry Piper,” the restaurant invites everyone to embrace their inner Irish spirit and enjoy classic Irish dishes, like Shepherd’s Pie, Corned Beef & Cabbage and more. The Kerry Piper’s menu has recently been updated by Executive Chef Marcus Mooney and features options for children, large-scale catered events and a full-size menu featuring appetizers, soups, salads, specialty burgers, entrees and desserts.
