Geneva Church Hosts Mental Health Ministry Presentation: #MeToo

In October of 2017, actress Alyssa Milano posted a tweet asking women to speak up about their experiences with sexual assault and harassment with the hashtag #MeToo. Over the course of a few days, this hashtag exploded all over the world, as women shared their stories of sexual harassment and assault. Please join us as the Mental Health Ministry at UUSG will be hosting a discussion of this movement on Sunday, March 25, at 1pm. We will talk about why this movement took hold at this particular time in history, and brainstorm ways how to keep the momentum going to protect and enhance women’s rights across the globe. About UUSG The Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva, established in 1842 and the oldest church in Geneva, is a diverse, welcoming community that endeavors to make its Covenant a living reality.
