Women's Fellowship Breakfast
All women are invited to attend a morning of uplifting inspiration with the theme “Blessed to Be a Blessing.”
St. John Lutheran Church at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien, IL will host a Women’s Fellowship Breakfast on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All women are invited to attend a morning of uplifting inspiration with the theme “Blessed to Be a Blessing.” Attendees will be treated to a delicious breakfast and presentation by our keynote speaker and Christian author, Sharla Fritz. She will lead a Bible study focused on God’s transforming grace titled “Christ-Connected Women: Elizabeth and Mary.” With honesty and humor, Sharla will use the lives of these two courageous and godly women to illustrate how stronger connections with Christ and others help us to find soul rest when we are pulled in a hundred different directions. To provide an opportunity for mission service, a gathering of supplies for Grace Christian Academy, a Recognized Service Organization (RSO) of the LCMS located in Chicago's Little Village, will be sponsored. Those wishing to donate are asked to bring bottles of hand soap, Lysol/Clorox Wet Wipes, and/or reams of 8.5" x 11" white copy paper. Participation is optional. A freewill offering designated for the General Fund will be received to help defray the cost of the event. Those wishing to attend should call the church office at 630-969-7987 or register online at http://www.sjlcdarien.org/events/womens-fellowship-breakfast.html by October 1.
