Naperville, IL — Winick & Gallaher, PC, announced the acquisition of Poznak Law Firm, LTD, this month. This follows the merger in April with The Law Office of Brian J. Russell, and with Russell G. Winick & Associates, P.C., in 2019. Kevin M. Gallaher is the Principal of the new Winick & Gallaher, PC, which moved its offices to downtown Naperville early this year, at 35 South Washington Street, Suite 300, above Catch 35.
The new firm has a variety of practice areas, with a specialization in business law. Led by Mr. Gallaher’s casework on the local, state and federal levels for more than 30 years, Winick & Gallaher is now one of the preeminent law firms serving DuPage County and Kane County in the Western Suburbs of Chicago.
“The expansion that our firm is undergoing reflects our success in this market, in addition to being part of our strategic business plan,” said Kevin Gallaher. “We are now positioned to serve our clients better than ever, and to accommodate the steady growth that we continue to experience as we help suburban businesses navigate this difficult time.”
As Principal, Mr. Gallaher specializes in business sales, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, and business disputes. Senior Counsel Brian Russell also handles real estate transactions, as well as corporate formation, commercial litigation and bankruptcy.
In addition, Attorney Joseph R. Stacho joined the firm in March, rounding out the team. Mr. Stacho specializes in labor and employment law for the firm, as well as commercial litigation.
Attorneys James L. Poznak and Russell G. Winick have retired from practice, and worked with Mr. Gallaher to transition clients to Winick & Gallaher, PC, from the firms that they founded.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Gallaher has served multiple terms on the Naperville City Council, focusing on such issues as zoning and business development in the community.
