The Darien Police Department to host its annual National Night Out on August 6

Jul 24, 2019 12:08PM ● By Hannah Ott

Darien - On Tuesday, August 6, visit Darien Community Park for the National Night Out Against Crime.

The event is celebrated across the country and helps promote police-community partnerships in order to create more connected, safer neighborhoods.

Join the Darien Police Department and members of the community as they celebrate from 6-9pm. Families can take part in everything from exciting activities to Touch-A-Trucks. It's sure to be fun for all-ages.

This year, take a sweet "bite out of crime" with cake provided for the community. There will be balloons, too, since the City of Darien is celebrating 50 years.

For questions, contact Nick at 630-353-8337 or nskweres@darienil.gov.
