Naperville DuPage Credit Union would like to thank everyone who kindly donated to its June 21st Drive, Drop & Donate event. During the sixth-annual fundraiser, the Credit Union raised over $3,100 which will be used to purchase backpacks and school supply kits for DuPage County students in need.

“We’re thrilled with the results,” said Amy Brandt, Vice President of Business Solutions at DuPage Credit Union. “Our Team enjoyed meeting the many generous individuals who made donations to our We’ve Got Your Back backpack fundraising efforts.”

Backpacks, stuffed with essential school supplies, will be handed out to students attending the Catholic Charities Annual Back-to-School Fair on August 7 at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, which benefits DuPage County students in need through the DuPage Regional Office of Education.

To date, the Credit Union has surpassed its goal of $10,000 and has raised $13,634 to purchase supplies and backpacks; and will continue to take donations through July 31. To make a donation or learn more, visit dupagecu.com/backpacks.

The Credit Union also thanks its Drive, Drop & Donate sponsor, The Rusin-Fulco Realty Group, for their third-consecutive year of being the sole sponsor of this event.
