About People's Resource Center: PRC's mission is to respond to basic human needs, promote dignity and justice, and create a future of hope and opportunity for the residents of DuPage County, Illinois, through discovering and sharing personal and community resources. With a team of over 2,600 volunteers supported by 45 staff members, PRC offers emergency assistance, including food, clothes, financial assistance, homelessness prevention services, and referrals for medical and dental care. Our empowerment programs encourage individuals to realize their full potential through job search assistance, adult basic education and literacy, computer training and access, and art enrichment. Today, PRC programs support and engage nearly 30,000 individuals each year out of our two facilities in Wheaton and Westmont, Illinois, and in collaboration with more than 30 community partners across the county.
