Wheaton - The People's Resource Center, 201 S. Naperville Rd., Wheaton, loves traditions. They especially love when traditions involve long-time supporters.

One of those supporters is the Chicago Blackhawks' Front Office. The center is thanking front office employees who continued their yearly volunteer work in the Wheaton Food Pantry.

"We appreciate your dedication to neighbors throughout DuPage County!" says the People's Resource Center (PRC). The video attached below shows the team in action.

Another team giving back to the center is the one at Glen Ellyn Ophthalmology. They wanted to do something special for their very own Dr. Sarkos and Dr. Barnes, so they decided to make an Honorary Donation in their names. Their gift is already helping to support neighbors who are struggling.

PRC exclaims, "What an inspirational gift idea! Thank you!"

They encourage others to donate and will even send a special card to the person or people whom donors wish to honor. It is a great gift for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or even for a surprise showing of apprecation. Donate here

"With 2633 amazing volunteers, 3920 donors and 45 employees, we can do some amazing things in just 12 months," says PRC. Its Annual Report highlights the programs and opportunities that were added last fiscal year - from computer classes to clothes closet sessions to a job board.

Learn about the new programs as well as statistics showing PRC's successful outreach. You can download a copy of the Annual Report and share with others who have never heard of PRC. There is also a location in Westmont at 104 Chestnut Ave.
