Downer’s Grove, IL – On Saturday, November 17, join the Dupage Foundation in its very own “world of pure imagination.” The Imagination Ball, a benefit night with a fun, Willy Wonka theme, will be hosted by the Foundation from 5:30pm-12am at the Westin Hotel, 70 Yorktown Center, Lombard.

The DuPage Foundation is hosting this event to join nearly 800 other community foundations across the country for Community Foundation Week, Nov. 12-18. Created in 1989, this week recognizes the important work foundations do and their collaborative approach to working with the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Community Foundation Week coincides with National Philanthropy Day on Thursday, Nov. 15.

At the Imagination Ball this Saturday, enjoy a whimsical evening of dinner, dancing and a host of exciting surprises inspired by the wonderful world of Willy Wonka. Dress in colorful, formal attire like Wonka himself to really get into the theme. The DuPage Foundation’s new sponsors will be at the event this Saturday: Little Friends, NAMI DuPage and Teen Parent Connection. Contact kait@dupagefoundation.org or visit the RSVP page for more information about the event.
