Cantigny 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans

Wheaton, IL - Cantigny Park invites runners and walkers of all ages to enter the 15th Annual Cantigny 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, November 3.

The race begins at 9am with net proceeds benefitting the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, a Wheaton nonprofit providing veterans and their families with housing and supportive services that lead to self-sufficiency. The 2017 Cantigny 5K raised $13,500 for the shelter.

Race registration, limited to 1,200 runners, is available online. Cost is $20 for the main race; $8 for the Youth Run (1 mile, ages 6-10); and $5 for the Tot Run (1/4 mile, ages 1-5). Race shirts are available for $10. Registration is open until the participation limit is reached or by 4pm on November 1. There is no race day registration. 

On race day, Cantigny Post 556 of the American Legion will host a fundraising Pancake Breakfast inside the Cantigny Visitors Center from 7am-1pm. Runners, walkers and spectators are invited to enjoy a delicious meal for a good cause. The cost is $8 per person and free for ages 4 and under. Parking is free.
