DuPage County 4-H Foundation hosts Cantigny luncheon to support 4-H Youth Scholarships, Extension Programs

Tickets are on sale now for the annual DuPage County 4-H Foundation Luncheon and Silent Auction at Cantigny Golf Course in Wheaton. The event features elegant dining, beautiful scenery and more than 50 donated baskets from area businesses, groups and individuals.
WHEATON, Ill. – You can spend
an afternoon at the gorgeous Cantigny Golf Course and help send 4-H youth to
college by attending the annual 4-H Foundation Summer Luncheon and Silent
Auction on Friday, June 29.
“The event will feature an elegant menu and more than 50 silent auction baskets, including a wine package, golf bundle, show tickets and more,” said Terrie Carso of the DuPage County 4-H Foundation. “Plus, it is a wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Cantigny grounds, while supporting local programs for community youth and residents of all ages.”
All proceeds will help support 4-H Youth Development scholarships and the community programs provided by the University of Illinois Extension in DuPage County, including 4-H, Home and Community Education Association, Master Gardeners, and Nutrition and Wellness.
The event begins at noon at Cantigny Golf Course, located at 27W270 Mack Road, Wheaton. The cost per person for the luncheon is $35, and tickets are available through June 22. Children’s tickets are available for $18 each, for ages 12 and younger. They include an entrée, fries, fruit cup and dessert. Entrée options include chicken fingers, hamburger/cheeseburger or grilled cheese.
