Run to help struggling DuPage neighbors

The Westmont Park District (WPD) and People’s Resource Center (PRC) are partnering to host the 9th annual Race to the Flag 5K in Westmont on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Ty Warner Park.

Register today at www.racetotheflag.org. Runners and walkers are both welcome at the race and all participants will be treated to a complementary pancake breakfast after the event.

People’s Resource Center is the beneficiary of the race.

According to Gregg Pill, Race Director, “Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and exercise oriented event while continuing the tradition of giving back to the community through PRC. 

“Sponsors still have time to sign up for any level from $100 - $500 and up,” he added

The race begins at 8am and starts and finishes at Ty Warner Park.  It is a CARA and USTAF Certified 5K course and a chip timed event.  Prizes will be awarded to the overall men’s and overall women’s winner, and for men and women in the following age groups:  14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & above.
