LISLE, IL—May 25, 2017—It's a musical trifecta! Rockabilly giant The Reverend Horton Heat, British rock legends Foghat, and country popster Cassadee Pope are the music headliners at Eyes to the Skies Festival that returns for its 35th year to west suburban Lisle, Ill., on Friday-Sunday, June 30-July 2.

The sprawling and popular event is held at Lisle Community Park, 1825 Short Street. Hours are Noon-11:00 p.m. each day. The fest is best known for its visually stunning hot-air balloon shows that attract tens of thousands over its three-day run.

A fest new feature in 2017 will be daily skydiving shows.

In addition to hot-air balloons and two stages of music, the fest also features food, a craft fair, and a huge kids' activity and entertainment area. There's also three evenings of fireworks (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and five days of carnival rides (starting on Wednesday, June 28th).

  • Acclaimed Texas rockabilly trio The Reverend Horton Heat (helmed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Jim Heath) will perform at 8:45 p.m. on Friday, June 30, on the fest's Vankampen stage.
  • Legendary '70s British rockers Foghat will headline at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 1.
  •  And country pop singer/songwriter Cassadee Pope, who was the Season 3 winner of NBC's "The Voice," will headline at 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 2.
Nearly 20 acts are set to perform on the fest's two music stages including (on Sunday) the Rob Morrow Band helmed by TV and film actor Rob Morrow ("Northern Exposure," "Numb3rs" and "The People v. O.J. Simpson").
