The After Hours Film Society presents: The Beatles!
Eight Days a Week: The Touring Years, a new documentary by iconic director Ron
Howard that includes never-before-seen footage of the Fab Four, interviews with
the surviving Beatles, and digitally remastered concert performances from the
group's touring years.
For Beatlemanics who experienced the magic from 1963-1966, and for those who wish they had, this film is a must-see. Eight Days a Week plays one night only: Monday, November 7, 7:30 pm, at the historic Tivoli Theater, 5021 Highland Avenue, Downers Grove.
The movie recaptures the cultural madness at the height of Beatlemania through the group's live performances, including rare TV broadcasts and touring footage. Ron Howard "puts us back at the center of the noise, and the sheer intensity of the release is stunning all over again."
Admission to Eight Days a Week is $6 for After Hours Film Society Members; $10 for non-members. Don't wait: purchase tickets in advance at www.classiccinemas.com or at the Tivoli Theater box office.
