Westmont Chamber of Commerce presents first ever Fine Arts Showcase

On Sunday, September 18, the Westmont Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau will present the first ever Westmont Fine Arts Showcase. The family-friendly event will be held at Neat Kitchen + bar, 246 North Cass Avenue, Westmont from 1-4pm. Admission is free.
Did you know that the Village of Westmont is home to fourteen arts related businesses and organizations? Westmont has become a hub of artistic endeavor for residents of the western suburbs. Furthermore, many professional Westmont artists design a wide array of artworks and others provide art related products to our wonderful community.
On Sunday, September 18th the public will be able to learn about the many resources, training and opportunities available through a fun and unique Fine Arts event. The event will include ten minute dance performances featuring: Expression Dance Studio, Hinsdale Dance Academy, and Salt Creek Ballet; Theatre performances by Progressive Village Performance Network (PVPN); Musical performances with the Musician’s Workshop and Uncle Jon’s Music; And Art and Activities with No Corner Suns. There will be information tables and exceptional prizes raffled. Proceeds from the event will go to support scholarships for those pursuing a degree in Fine Arts.
These businesses and organizations provide music, visual arts, dance and theatrical instruction to kids through adults, and live performances to tens of thousands of individuals each year.
