Over the next several months, the Village of Westmont Public Works Department will oversee the final phase of a three year street resurfacing project. This final portion of the project will cover approximately 10 miles of community roadways. When completed, the village will have resurfaced more than half of Westmont’s streets within three years. Current work is expected to be completed before September.
“When I was elected to the village board, one of the main themes I heard from residents was that we needed to improve our streets, “said Mayor Ron Gunter. “I want to commend our public works department for their excellent coordination and execution of this project.” For a complete list of roadways being worked on during this current phase of the program, please visit the village website at westmont.illinois.gov.
