Fall activities at the Darien Park District

Skate School is an ISI program where you or your child will learn the fundamentals of ice skating. There are a variety of ice skating classes for all ages and levels, so the entire family can enjoy class. At the end of each session participants will be tested by their instructor and will have to pass to move on to the next level. Our winter session is Oct. 15 to Dec. 19. Little Hawks Hockey
This fall the Darien Sportsplex and Hawks Hockey Club are now offering four Learn to Skate classes on Sundays! Learn to Skate is a great way to get your hockey enthusiast on the ice building the foundation for their future hockey career. A new Sunday class has also been added to our Little Hawks program for parents and their kids! This parent and child Learn to Play Hockey class will get you and your child on the ice together where you will learn stick handling and shooting from our Hawks coaches. Darien Park District Super Rec Winter Soccer
If you’re looking to get your child into soccer the Darien Sportsplex has the program for you! Our Super Rec League is lead by the nationally acclaimed Eclipse Select Soccer Club where your child will learn drills and skills from their professional coaches. This league is for players Pre-K to 8th grade, they will be divided into divisions and teams based upon their age and ability. All teams will be coached by parent volunteers and have one practice and one game per week. The winter indoor session begins Nov. 4, registration ends Oct. 25.
