The grant, awarded during a special distribution breakfast on June 1, at the Glen Oak Country Club, will help underwrite the purchase of a new van which People’s Resource Center will use for food rescue for its food pantry. The total of all grants awarded during this cycle, whose amounts ranged in value from $2,000 - $20,000, was $400,001.
